Open Your Heart!
Contributing to UMC is one of the best ways to help Midcoast nonprofits and thousands of people in Knox and Waldo counties during these trying times. And you can rest assured that 100% of your donations will go directly to local nonprofits. Below are several easy giving options. In many cases, you may qualify for a tax deduction-consult your accountant/CPA for details.
A gift of Cash
All amounts, no matter how large or small, are always welcome. Donate once or monthly; every gift makes a difference.
It’s simple. You can donate any amount whenever you’d like. Distributing your charitable giving over 12 months allows you to build your gifts into your budget, and you can set this up through our website or use your bank’s online bill-pay.
Join a group of dedicated major donors who believe in active community philanthropy and have made a commitment to give at least $10,000 to UMC every year.
“I have long believed that we all have a responsibility, philanthropically, to those in our community in greater need., When Judy and I moved to Rockland, we quickly discovered that there was no other organization as uniquely positioned as United Midcoast Charities to help address the needs of the nonprofits through grants in our area., UMC’s grants support the operations of so many local organizations throughout the year. We hope that friends of UMC join us in supporting this important mission to help the many wonderful nonprofits in our community.” – Dr. Jim Hengerer, UMC Board Chair & Community Champion
