Sometimes, the true strength of a community isn’t measured by what one organization can do. It’s measured by how quickly many organizations come together when help is needed.

Recently, United Midcoast Charities received an urgent call from a trusted nonprofit partner after they encountered a vulnerable group of individuals with immediate humanitarian needs.

Within 12 hours, essential food, drinking water, and emergency supplies had been gathered and coordinated through nonprofit partners across our network.

No single organization could have responded alone.

But together, we met the need.

As we reached out to organizations we know and trust, each stepped forward with the resources they were best equipped to provide. Working through our partner, who had already established trusted relationships with those in need, these essential supplies were delivered quickly, compassionately, and just in the nick of time.
